INTERNET BROWSER SETTINGS FOR SALESTRAK

The following troubleshooting steps are to be done when using Internet Explorer 8 or 9.

To Disable or Enable the Pop-up blockers:

Step 1 – Click on Tools

Step 2 – Hover you mouse over Pop-up blockers

Step 3 – Select Turn On/Off Pop-up blockers

To add a site to the Trusted Sites list:

Step 1 – Click on Tools

Step 2 – Select Internet Options

Step 3 – Select the “Security” tab

Step 4 – Select “Trusted Sites”

Step 5 – Click on the “Sites” button

Step 6 – Enter the website that you wish to add under “Add this website to the zone”

Step 7 – Click the “Add” button

Step 8 – Click the “Close” button

Step 9 – Click on the “Ok” button to close the Internet Options window

To configure the Security settings:

Step 1 – Click on tools

Step 2 – Select “Internet Options”

Step 3 – Select the “Security”tab

Step 4 – Select “Trusted Sites”

Step 5 – Under “Security level for this zone” use the scroll bar to select “Medium”

Step 6 – Click the “Apply” button

Step 7 – Click the “Ok” to close the Internet Options window

To enable Mixed content:

Step 1 – Click on “Tools”

Step 2 – Select “Internet Options”

Step 3 – Select the “Security”tab

Step 4 – Select the “Internet” icon

Step 5 – Click the “Custom Level“ button

Step 6 – Scroll down to “Miscellaneous“

Step 7 – Under “Display Mixed Content”

Step 8 – Click on “Enable”

Step 9 – Click the “Ok” button to exit the “security Settings – Internet Zone” window

Step 10 - Click the “Ok” to close the Internet Options window

Setting up the Tool bars:

Step 1 – Click on “Tools”

Step 2 – Hover mouse over “Tool Bars”

Step 3 – Check only the “Favorites Bar” “Status Bar” and “Command Bar”

To enable Compatibility View:

Step 1 – Go to “Tools”

Step 2 – Select “Compatibility View”
